TAITRONICS, Taiwan RFID and Broadband Taiwan Winning Trio Plug in this October
June 02, 2010 From: TAITRA
TAITRONICS (the 36th Taipei International
Electronics Show), Taiwan RFID (the 4th Taiwan
International RFID Applications Show), and Broadband Taiwan (the 3rd
edition), co-organized by TAITRA and TEEMA, will take place at TWTC
Nangang Exhibition Hall during October 11-14, 2010.
Taiwan is holding the global No.1 market share for chip resistors,
WLAN NIC, and IP phones, and standing global No.2 in manufacturing
LED, IC substrates, and PCB, so it is only natural that industry
links up at Taipei. The trio events will show Taiwan's strength in
the electronics industry in terms of R&D, manufacturing, and
logistics and attract buyers from all over the world.
TAITRONICS opens big picture on electronic components & instruments
As the leading professional procurement platform for electronics,
TAITRONICS 2010 has fine tuned the exhibit areas to spotlight the
critical components and equipment required in the electronics
production, including passive and active electronic components,
meters and instruments, LED, manufacturing equipment, and wires and
cables. This arrangement will facilitate one-stop shopping for
upstream, midstream, and downstream key products.
"Electronic components" are the long established centerpiece of the
show. Buoyed by growing demand for 3C products, in particular
personal computers, consumer electronics, and web communications,
the demand for components is rising as well. Renowned exhibitors
this year include industry leaders Kai Suh Suh Enterprise, K.S.
Terminals, Excel Cell Electronic, and Apex Precision Technology.
Also there will be foreign exhibitors such as LEVEX Corporation and
IKK SHOT of Japan.
"Meters and instruments" that are essential for testing in
electronic engineering represent another popular show area.
Exhibitors include Good Will Instrument, Motech Industries, Chroma
ATE, FineTek, and Pan-Globe Instrument & Controls, all of whom are
heavyweight test equipment suppliers in Taiwan.
Building upon the success of the previous two years, the "LED Show
Area" targets opportunities in flat panel televisions and LED
illumination and is projected to attract a record number of buyers.
And with the emergence of the green energy market, the show is the
first in Taiwan to allocate an area for "batteries and power
supplies". Mean Well Enterprises, with an established original brand
of power supply, and LiTone Electronics, a specialized adaptor
designer and manufacturer, will be showcasing effective and energy
efficient power supply solutions.
Taiwan RFID fields full slate of innovative RFID
Taiwan possesses a complete RFID industry chain. From upstream part
designs, midstream integration, and downstream innovation and
applications, there are businesses in every part of the industry
chain. In the past, it had been difficult to reduce costs which were
restricted by market scale. However, a coordinated effort by
government, the public sector, and private firms have managed to
promote applications to every facet of daily living. Applications of
RFID range from EasyCard and e-tickets to various trade and
entertainment facilities to meat processing certification.
As the only domestic RFID show, this event brings together well
known domestic and foreign firms, including Champtek, which holds
many RFID key technologies and patents, and J-Link Technology, which
specializes in RFID smart library systems. UPM RAFLATAC (UPM), an
RFID firm from Finland, and TECHSIGNO SRL, an RFID firm from Italy,
will also be making the long trip to take part in the much
anticipated event.
Broadband Taiwan set to soar as global recovery takes off
Projections paint a bright picture for global communication in the
coming year. The continuous stream of telecom bids in Europe and the
US, and China is promoting broadband into rural areas. Moreover,
demand for network communication equipment in emerging markets
(India, Brazil, and countries in Southeast Asia) has kept stable.
Therefore, it is estimated that production may return to levels
prior to the global financial crisis.
Taiwan is well positioned to meet the demand. It enjoys a winning
track record in the development of broadband communications and its
research capacity of domestic firms leads the international market.
Exhibitors this year include Universal Microelectronics, Delta
Networks, Global Mobile Corp, and Chunghwa Telecom. PRESTO
ENGINEERING of the United States and CYCLEO of France will also
participate the event. On display at the show for international
buyers will be a wide range of broadband and WiMAX products and
applications and communications equipment and components.
Trio Electronics Shows unite to stage global experts for best
insiders
With this trio mega showcase comes a full line-up of inter-active
events designed to link buyer and supplier. A series of seminars are
held to address online marketing opportunities, safety & security,
green electronics, and broadband networks. There will also be
networking opportunities at the Opening Ceremony and the Welcome
Cocktail Party.
Six "new products launches" will blast off the latest electronic
components, LED components and applications, RFID equipment and
applications, consumer electronics and batteries and power supplies,
meters and instruments, industrial process and manufacturing
equipment, broadband communication, and WiMAX equipment and
applications.
The 4th Taiwan Int'l RFID Applications Conference will bring guest
speakers from GE, Motorola, and Microsoft of the United States, SAP
of Germany, and LG of Korea. They will offer in-depth knowledge of
potential markets as they discuss topics centering on the current
development of RFID applications as well as future trends.
Last but not least, the organizers will invite major international
buyers to visit Taiwan who will meet buyers one-on-one to lay down
their exacting spec and needs at the "procurement meetings". |
