80^th China Electronics Fair (CEF) and 2012 Asia Electronics Exhibition in Shanghai (AEES) lowered the curtain successfully at Shanghai New International Expo Center On November 1^st. The exhibition lasted three days and the exhibition scale reached 50,000 sq.m. There were more than 1,300 exhibitors and 2,100 booths, which increased by 4.5% compared to last year.During the show period, CEF attracted total of 52,023 professional visitors and more than 60,000 person-time, which increased by 10% compared to last year. A number of industrial zones, associations and electronic markets from Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Kunshan and other places formed buyer groups to participate at the exhibition, which includes Foxconn, Panasonic, BYD, Siemens, Sharp Electronics, Sony, etc. As the weathervane of China electronics industry, CEF showed the sign of industry recovering.

In the opening ceremony, the counselor of the Sate Council, chairman of China electronics Chamber of Commerce, former routine deputy director of the Information Office of the State Council Qu Weizhi, deputy mayor of Shanghai government Ai Baojun and chairman of China Electronics Corporation Rui Xiaowu made their participation, general economist of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Zhou Zixue sent his congratulation letter. CEO & President of Korea Electronic AssociationJeon Sang hwon and delegates from Taiwan, Hongkong and Germany and other areas join in the opening ceremony. Consumer electronics such as 3D and smart terminal becoming the hotspot of the exhibition

StreamTV brought their 42 inch 3D without Glasses Technology-Ultra-D. According to the manager, this technology helped customer to exchange all TV shows to 3D display anytime and anywhere.

WUHU ACTO DIGITAL VIDEO TECHNOLOGY brought their 3DLCD micro-projector. This projector had similar size and weight of a cell-phone, and brightness of 20lm, and one hour lasting for every battery charging. It helped the game and movie to be projected on big screen.

Internet Application Zone displayed all kinds of mobile products. MChina explorer brought the first social mobile explorer in China. ANHUI USTC iFLYTEK introduced voice input, and Jinan Clov4r displayed a new media player and so on.

Lithium Battery bringing more hotspots for CEF

Following the market development trend is one of the features of CEF. As the core products for power supply and power accumulation system, lithium battery would of course be exhibited in the CEF. Even it was the first time for the lithium battery zone to be set up on 80^th CEF, 1200 sqm area attracted new energy automobile, automation bicycle, power accumulation system, battery manufacturing equipment and other products.

As one of the most important part of CEF, LED zone attracted many professional visitors with the theme healthy development and cooperation. Serious of new products was displayed, for example, TDG HOLDING CO.,LTD showed their sapphire substrate slice with high pureness, large bulk and low cost, Zhejiang Z-light Optoelectronics exhibited LED lighting and packing material with high brightness, high efficiency and high function, Silergy Semiconductor Technology and O2Micro exhibited LED drive chip with environment friendly and high accuracy. Various products and advanced technology had a great improving effect for the LED industry. The three-day exhibition brought not only visitors, but also business opportunities for exhibitors. Exhibitor from Zhejiang Z-light Optoelectronics said that the exhibition was better than they expected and they would participate in the exhibition next year.

During the 2012 China LED Lighting Standard Seminar, experts discussed the current LED lighting standard knowledge and earned the focus of the audiences.

Innovations in Asia Electronics Exhibition in Shanghai (AEES)

Asia Electronics Exhibition in Shanghai (AEES) is jointly organized by five leading electronics exhibition organizers in Asia, namely, China Electronic Appliance Corporation (CEAC), Korea Electronics Association (KEA), Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA), and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA). Buyer program gathering visitors

During the exhibition, purchasing visiting group from Toshiba, Siemens, LG, Panasonic, Foxconn and members from electronic association of Suzhou and Nanjing joined in the new products and technology introduction meeting.



The organizing committee of CEF also invited Panasonic Semiconductor, FAW-Volkswagen, SUNWIN, Laidesheng Technology, LDS Group and other researchers to join in the one-to-one business matching. CTO of SUNWIN Mr. Ni said, the matching program helped them to find supplier for their new LED project. Purchasers from Panasonic Semiconductor said they found the suitable supplier for semiconductor and switch and they would make further connection after the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the organizing committee also cooperated with hc360.com, qic.com.cn, dzsc.com, ic.net.cn and other media to provide a communication platform for exhibitors and buyers.



High-level forums searching for latest industry trend

A series of high-level forums were held during the CEF, for example, 2012 Automobile Electronics Forum, 2013 ICT Industry Prosperity Forecast, 2012 Automobile Electronics Forum, 2012 China LED Lighting Standard Seminar, Healthy Internet of Things Forum, 2012 Sensor World Congress, 2012 Electronic Pollution Prevention and Control Forum, New Energy Automobile Testing Technology, 13^th Circuit Protection and EMC Seminar, Innovative solutions in EMC, Sensors and Measurement Techniques, 12^th High-efficiency Design Seminar, Electronic Capacitor Application and Selection Conference and so on. Experts and industry leaders shared the latest product and technology trend, which the improved the weathervane effect of China electronics industry.

At the New-energy Automobile and Industrial Application, expert from LeCroy discussed opportunity and solution of high voltage signal and low voltage signal testing. The expert introduced 12 digital ADC high accuracy oscilloscope, and it was said to be very accurate.

During the 13^th Circuit Protection and EMC Seminar, application engineer from Bourns shared their new products TCS, which could control electric current properly.

On 2012 Sensor World Congress, vice-chief of technology department MIIT Zhang Qi made a brilliant speech about the development of internet of things. Experts from China Telecom, China Mobile, Taiji and Huawei explained the application of internet of thing in smart city. Bosch and Solid also made their speech. The spirit was very warm and many audience finished the report by standing.

Celebration for the 80th edition of china electronics fair and expecting for a higher level

On April 10^th -12^th, 2013 China Information Technology Expo will be organized by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and produced by China Electronic Appliance Corporation and Shenzhen Flat Panel Display Industry Association in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. This Expo will include 81th China Electronics Fair, China Consumer Electronics Fair, China LED Fair and so on. With the theme "Improving new information technology and promoting development changing", the Expo will use all 9 exhibition halls of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.
